This goes under the "Wish I thought of it" category. Just read an article about Jonathan Adler being commissioned to design toilet paper roll covers for Cottonelle. When I went to the Cottonelle site, I was surprised by how fun these patterns really are. And let's face, we all struggle with where to put that extra roll of toilet paper, especially if you have a pedestal sink with no storage. One of life's little dilemmas J. That "back up" roll obviously needs to be in the bathroom so why not disguise it in a decorative way.
Here's a sneak peak at some of his upcoming designs that will be selling this spring:

Aren't these fun?!! When I first read this story, it brought back memories of a craft we did in Brownies when I was probably 7 or 8 years old that definitely didn't resemble these covers. I remember mine looking something more like this:
Yes, Jonathan's are a BIG improvement over what I remember! Let's just say toilet paper roll covers have now grown up! I'm already thinking you could get one of the Cottonelle covers and use that as a template to personalize your own cover with a fun wallpaper or fabric print. If you're not crafty and just want to snag up one of Jonathan's exclusive designs, visit https://www.cottonelle.com/respect-the-roll/Order-A-Roll-Cover.
Never thought I'd be blogging about toilet paper roll covers but I guess design's reach really has no boundaries.
