I posted last week about my client's fireplace and replacing their mantel. It made such a HUGE difference in this space and really allowed their fireplace to feel a part of this space again. To see that post, click here. 

We're continuing to add finishing touches to their family room. As they say, the difference is in the details. We added these gorgeous vases from Z Gallerie last week and it really was just what their fireplace area needed to feel finished.

The fireplace area just felt like it was missing something and these vases did the trick! Notice how they mimic the artwork above in terms of a smaller piece set against a bigger piece? The vases now visually balance the space and help break up all that stone that is nice but for my client's taste, it really didn't need to take center stage in this room. The white vases also pop against the stone and tie in with the background on the artwork while not competing with it; further unifying the two groupings.

It has been so wonderful working on their space and watching it transform into something that speaks more to their contemporary style. We have just a few more pieces to add and I cannot wait to show you the complete set of "after" pictures once everything is in place.
